The Christmas Bows That Made the Cut
I ordered a ridiculous number of bows for the dining-room tree. These are the ones worth your money, all from Amazon.

Every year I go a little overboard, and this year it was bows. I ordered a ton to try for the dining-room Christmas tree, and after a very unscientific sort through the pile, here are the ones that actually made the cut.
What to look for
Wired ribbon (it holds its shape), a velvet or linen texture (not shiny plastic), and a palette that stays in one lane. I went tonal cream and sage with one deep red.
The keepers
- Oversized velvet bows for the focal points.
- Linen wired ribbon to make your own, cheaper and prettier.
- Mini satin bows tucked deeper into the branches for layers.
- A single statement bow for the top instead of a topper.
