The Sardinia Packing Edit: Three Weeks, One Suitcase
Everything I packed for three weeks across the Costa Smeralda, Alghero and the south, built around linen, swimwear and a few elevated pieces that work from beach to dinner.

Three weeks in Sardinia in July sounds like it needs a steamer trunk. It does not. The whole island runs on the same easy register: linen by day, something a little elevated by night, and swimwear you can live in. Here is the exact edit I packed, and how I wear it on repeat.

The rule: a tight palette that all mixes
I kept everything to cream, sand, olive and a single navy. Nine pieces, twenty looks. When every item talks to every other item, you stop packing "outfits" and start packing a wardrobe.
Swimwear that doubles as the outfit
The right swimsuit with linen trousers is dinner-ready. I leaned on made-in-Sardinia and Italian labels so the content actually belongs to the place.
Day to night, one change
The trick to three weeks in a carry-on is pieces that pull a double shift. A linen midi over a swimsuit at lunch becomes the dinner look with a gold cuff and the sandals swapped for something with a heel.
The non-negotiables
Sun care, a packable hat, and one "real" dress for the night you end up somewhere unexpectedly beautiful. In Sardinia, that is most nights.
Save this for your own trip, and tell me where you are going. I am building a full Sardinia guide next.
